Carolina's Chocolate Two New Flavors
Calabaza is a spicy pumpkin of clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a pinch of white pepper to enhance the spice. It reminds me of an empanada, my favorite Mexican pastry. Naranja is 80% of silky dark chocolate with a lilting orange essence to the last bite.
That's my Erica, she's our pumpkin. Carolina is showing off the wonderful citrus from her backyard. Jesus M. Garcia, my grandfather, was a well known grafter of citrus throughout Arizona. Making Naranja was a certainty, citrus is in our DNA.
