Growing up in a family deeply rooted in sales, Carol was practically destined to lead. Her family’s history spans three fields: ministry, healthcare, and sales. Watching her father and great-grandfather engage in old-fashioned, customer-centered sales sparked her lifelong love for the profession. By age 21, she was managing accounts, training teams, and overseeing a multi-state territory in the water treatment business, taking on a level of responsibility that taught her the values of resilience, self-discipline, and customer trust.
Carol’s initial foray into healthcare contracted services sales began with recruitment advertising, which soon led her to manage sales, sales operations, and contracts for the nation’s largest newborn hospital photography company. She eventually entered the laundry sector with Angelica Corporation, where she rose to become Senior Vice President of Sales and Service for all 27 plants. When NOVO acquired the Rockmart plant from Angelica, Carol saw in NOVO the kind of people-focused culture she was seeking, and she joined the company, bringing her experience and passion for healthcare service excellence.
