Carlton VS GWS Preview
This is a must win game for both teams. Carlton coming off a rather disappointing lose to their massive rivals Collingwood and GWS coming off a strong win against an in-form Freo outfit in Perth. This game is a real game-changer, Carlton win and they can go up the ladder and can go back into the finals mix. GWS win and they can climb up the top 8. it will be a battle of the midfield with Sam Walsh, Ed Curnow and Will Setterfield all being in recent form. While GWS’ Lachie Whitfield, Tim Taranto and Stephen Coniglio also all having good seasons. Against Fremantle GWS had goals left right and center from experienced guns and young guns including Jeremy Cameron (4.2) Jake Riccardi (4.1) and Bobby Hill (2.2). Whilst Cartons forward line was fairly quiet, they had the all-reliable Eddie Betts kicking goals in the first half to keep his team alive. So this game brings a lot of fascination but GWS will be too strong and will grind out a win against the blues.
