Carlton Spotlight: Erin Alexander

This December, we are excited to shine the Carlton Spotlight on Erin Alexander , our Human Resources Generalist at Carlton National Resources .

Erin has been an essential part of the Carlton team, expertly managing employee benefits, ensuring compliance, and fostering communication with both internal teams and external partners. She also plays a critical role in overseeing Bullhorn , providing training, support, and solutions that enhance day-to-day operations for employees and consultants alike.

For Erin, the people at Carlton are the best part of her work. “My Services team is an incredible group of people who support me and encourage me to succeed and grow in my role,” she shares. Erin also takes pride in assisting consultants across the country, knowing her work contributes to their success.

Working remotely, Erin values the in-person strategy sessions where her team comes together to connect on a deeper level. “These sessions allow us to not only tackle work challenges but also grow as individuals and as a team. They bring a renewed energy that fosters growth for all of us,” Erin notes.

When it comes to overcoming challenges, Erin approaches them thoughtfully, considering all perspectives to find the most effective solution. She believes in the power of collaboration, often seeking insights from her peers and management. “There’s always room for growth and improvement in all of us,” she says.

Outside of work, Erin’s life is full of energy and joy. She spends her mornings walking along the beach in South Boston with Finn, her red Mini Goldendoodle, and enjoys supporting her children’s activities. Her son Ryan, 17, shines in hockey and basketball, while her daughter Hailey, 14, excels in dance competitions, volleyball, and basketball. Erin and her husband Darryl stay busy cheering on their kids, while also making time for their close-knit group of friends.

Erin finds motivation and inspiration in the leadership at Carlton, whom she views as role models. She continuously seeks opportunities to grow in her role, whether by taking classes, learning from colleagues, or embracing new challenges.

Reflecting on her journey, Erin is proud of her contributions to Carlton, particularly in leading advancements with Bullhorn. “I am excited to bring new opportunities through Bullhorn that help Carlton reach the next level,” she says.

For new team members, Erin offers simple but powerful advice: “Listen and learn from those around you. Everyone has unique experiences that can foster your growth in new and unexpected ways.”
