BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY TO A PATIENT/WORDS STICK AND STAY

I remember, holding my heart in my hand after telling Dr. Geist about the very beginning of our therapy when he was attentive, and returned emails and phone calls and was there for me in a crisis. I remember about the special Saturday we went to the park together and laid on the grass. I remember when he called me his "Runaway Bunny" He sat there glaring back at me saying it was all a mistake!

Every sweet memory we made, every sweet thing that he did was A MISTAKE! So now, not only did he abandon me at the time I needed him the most (when my son was brutally beaten) HE STOLE THE PRECIOUS PAST right out from under me. Just like I am sure he stole all those vows he took with his first wife that gave him three sons when he had an adulterous affair with his second wife!!! And RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER FACE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!! Since they all worked together at Mass General! here's a poem I just wrote -

He Undid Me

like a gold button, leaving me?

with the hole, the spot that filled me,

held me in tight, now a slit overnight.

And soiled did he blight. High on

his horse, no longer enmeshed!

Another Macbeth.?

He undid me

pressed Ctrl+Z on his keyboard

till not a trace of me

left. Then he typed in boldface

over the place I held breath.

He undid me

like a bun, secured with?

a barrette. Shook me loose. Now

a hairy mess. Like Niagara Falls I fell

to my death.
