Carefree Day

Morning has broken and the Robins in song

Singing his heart away

Welcoming the start of another Spring day

|His breast of vibrant red

Born to be on display

His notes fly on the breeze

Melodic echoes drift through the trees

Other birds join in with his chorus line

All in tune and in time

A burst of symphonies

Freeing your mind to wander

To feel a sense of ease

A lovely start to the day

A smile to light the way

Daffodils raise up their pretty heads as though to enjoy the view

Sunshine filtering through

Skies of sea blue

With dreamy powder puff clouds

A vision pure and true

The scent of fresh pine - fills the air

The aroma refreshing

Igniting your senses

The scents and the sounds

The beauty of Spring is truly all around

Whilst the Robin performs his own unique show

Leading the others who closely follow

A natural conductor which is evident to see

Natures own orchestra wild and free

Lead by the Robin whose heart knows the way
