Career Vs Job

Many professionals prefer to have a career vs a job.
Everyone had at least one job in their life prior to getting into a career and some get stuck in a job for various reasons that prevent them from getting a career.
Those who do, usually do so for survival reasons , because of a lack of experience , lack of a degree or because they choose to stay simply because they are passionate about what they do while making just enough to barely live on.
Professionals do so to obtain huge goals and to achieve the lifestyle they want to name but a couple of reasons.
Some professionals are in a secure financial position , in a career they are passionate about.
While some professionals who are not in a career and don’t have a secure financial position continue to assist others selflessly.
Some professionals like such do so to lead during difficult times , assist others during those difficult times and are the ones who continue to sacrifice for a bigger calling without financial rewards.
Regardless...
Covid had hit us all hard and we all had to pause and revamp our new paths to survive.
The question is are you looking to be an employee, working a job or are you a professional who is looking for a long term career to better your life and the lives of others?
I know where I stand on the topic and am looking forward to hearing what you think about this topic as it might just open up an opportunity for you to present your career and to meet some amazing friends like some that I strongly recommend getting to know and follow in the comments.
Stay strong and don’t give up!

4 年Jeremy Ruditis, people definitely don't need to give up! Keep going regardless.... I've chosen that my career will be defined by my vision and I will include whatever jobs along the way I need to do to keep pursuing my vision! My vision stays the same, my mission (jobs) changes according to the need of the current environment! If we find our vision and frame everything else around it we will be much better off at all stages!

4 年Improving the lives of others is an objective that we should all aim to achieve. That being said, my theory is, when we help others we succeed and move forward in many meaningful ways.?Jeremy Ruditis, Supportive post! Thank you for the mention!
