Microsoft Debuts SC-401 Beta Exam February 11, 2025. Will Replace SC-400

Microsoft has announced that it will debut SC-401 exam Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This exam will replace SC-400 exam. SC-400 will retire May 31, 2025.

This news comes literally out of nowhere. No one expected this especially with Microsoft retiring DP-203 Azure Data Engineer Associate two weeks ago with DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate. However, the only constant is change.

Here’s hoping that Microsoft gives us an 80% off beta code to sit for the SC-401.

PMI debuts PMO Certification

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has just introduced its new PMO certification.

This is new foray into project management. Remember, PMI has merged with the PMO Alliance. This is the first post-merger certification.

In project management, we oftentimes talk about project managers, coordinators and schedulers but never the PMO role. However, many companies have PMOs. These offices shape how project management gets done in an organization.

Experience: 3+ years of experience

Questions: 120

Time: 165 minutes
