ISC2 is continuing its free Certified in Cybersecurity training and exam voucher promotion in 2025. This is great if you’re wanting to get into cybersecurity. Also Oracle Cloud may be closer towards having a free certification promotion. There is still time to apply for the AWS Community Builders and pay $50 for all Okta certifications. Let’s get started!

Free Certification

ISC2 is continuing One Million Certified in Cybersecurity Pledge

Started in 2022, ISC2 continues its One million Certified in Cybersecurity free training and exam voucher pledge into 2025. Once you become an ISC2 candidate for free, you’d receive the free exam training and voucher. When you pass, there will be a $50 annual membership fee.

I passed the Certified in Cybersecurity in 2022. I wrote about my exam experience + tips because the provided exam prep training is not enough to pass.

I have also written about if you’re interested in passing your CISSP but never sat for an ISC2 exam before, 3 reasons to pass your Certified in Cybersecurity exam first.

Furthermore, now the Certified in Cybersecurity is Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 certified. That means it directly correlates to specific federal government jobs.

Oracle Cloud

The FREE Certification Promotion May Be Coming Soon?

In December 2024, I shot several videos pointing out how the OCI Foundations Associate, AI Foundations Associate and Data Foundations Associate were all retiring February 13, 2025 instead of the usual July 2025. I hinted that Oracle Cloud may be rolling out its free certification promotion either February 15, 2025 or March 1, 2025.

I have received a cryptic response telling me to stay tune. This increases my suspicions that Oracle Cloud’s free certification promotion may return in 2025.

Why is this important?

Because all of the Oracle Cloud certifications will be free not just the Foundations Associate certifications. I have used the 2023 promotion to pass my Oracle Cloud Multicloud Architect Associate. Remember, Oracle Cloud is the number 5 cloud provider so it is an in-demand certification.

AWS Community Builders 2025 Applications Close January 20, 2025

If you’re interested in joining the AWS Community Builders, you have until January 20, 2025 to submit your application.

Remember, the Community Builders are a technical group of people. That means that you must submit technical AWS articles. In addition, make sure that you have AWS certifications. When I got accepted, I had AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect Associate certifications. Apply here.

All Okta Certifications Are USD $50 Through January 31, 2025

If you’re interested in working in identity and access management (IAM), Okta is offering all of its certifications for $50. This is a great way to start the New Year off right.
