Be One of The First 5000 To Complete the MS Fabric Challenge for DP-600 Voucher.

The DP-600 MS Fabric Challenge has opened yesterday. The first 5000 people who complete the challenge and type an essay on the request form will get a free exam voucher. The voucher will be disbursed starting December 11, 2024. You must pass the exam by December 31, 2024.

I’ve mentioned this challenge in Issue 123. This is the only FREE MS Ignite exam voucher opportunity. The rest of the Ignite challenges get badges.

CertiProf Releases Free Business Agility Certification

This week CertiProf has released its free Business Agility training and certification. Business agility is a core scaled agile principle. Scaled agile is a subset of scrum. Scale agile focuses on applying the agile framework at the team, program and solution levels. Scrum is the most popular agile project management methodologies. CertiProf also says that business analysts and business owners are part of its target audience.

The exam is based on the Business Agility Institute’s 5 Domains of Business Analysis. Here is the link with the overview and complete guide. The complete guide if offered in English and Spanish. Please read this in addition to the CertiProf training to have a full understanding of business agility and what’s needed to pass your exam.

Analysis: Pair Business Agility with Scrum Foundations Professional Certification

You already know that CertiProf offers its FREE Scrum Foundational Professional Certification. I’ve passed it in 2020 and 2024. Here is my Medium post discussing why I’ve retaken the 2024 certification.

I would recommend starting with the Scrum Foundations certification first to learn the basics. Here is the web version of the 2020 Scrum Guide. This page also has a PDF link that you can save. This is the basis of the Scrum Framework.

After passing this certification, advance to the business agility certification.

Scrum and business agility are in demand. Most companies are using scrum. I am all about getting maximum return on these certifications.

Adobe + General Assembly Partner for Creative and Marketers Free Training In 2025

Adobe and General Assembly have partnered for two FREE trainings: one for creatives another for marketers. The creators training is 8 weeks with focusing on learning Adobe Suite of software. The marketers training is 10 weeks focusing on data analysis and marketing. Both programs start in March 2025. Apply ASAP because this free opportunity will fill up fast!

Here’s the eligibility information below:

• Age: 18–28
• Income: <$60,000 per year
• Location: Resident of the United States*
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or associate degree
• Profile: Part of a community underrepresented in tech—low income, communities of color, LGBTQQIA+, formerly incarcerated individuals, women, Veterans, those with disabilities, and other nontraditional groups
• Access to WiFi and laptop
• Willing to commit 8-12 hours per week for 8-10 weeks
• For Skills for Creatives: 1 year of experience with Adobe tools or equivalent practical experience
