AWS Generative AI Events

Hey there. Amazon Web Services is hosting several AWS generative AI events in different cities. AWS is also hosting this event online July 25, 2024 . AWS is the world-leader in cloud. This is a great free event to cultivate and develop your AI skills.

Speaking of AI skills, you may also get insight about the upcoming AI Cloud Practitioner and Machine Learning Engineer Associate beta exams. AWS will open up beta registration August 13, 2024. ???????????? ?am sure that AWS will use these events as an opportunity to? give you a peek about these two new certifications. I’ve covered them here in this issue of Career Trajectory .

Amazon Rolls Out New generative AI Training

Last week Amazon rolled out new AI training to commemorate surpassing its learner goal . Amazon wanted 29 million people to enroll in its free AI training. 31 million enrolled. In celebration of smashing that goal, here are the AI training.

AWS All Builders Welcome Grant Application Period Open Through August 2, 2024

Hey are you an underrepresented cloud professional with less than 5 years’ work experience? Then apply for the AWS ALL Builders Welcome grant. Winning this travel grant will give you the money to attend AWS Reinvent .

Oracle Cloud

The 2024 Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate Training and Certification Are Released

Oracle Cloud has updated its 2024 1z0-1085-24 Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate training and certification . Remember, this along with the Data Management Foundations Associate and AI Foundations Associate certifications are all FREE! You don’t have to pay for anything.

Also right now the Oracle Cloud generative AI professional exam is FREE. However, as of right now, there aren’t any more free promotional exam slots. I have emailed Oracle Cloud to see if Oracle will extend the promotion before July 31, 2024.

Project Management

PMI Released Prompt Engineers for Project Managers E-Course

Project Management Institute (PMI) released its third artificial intelligence course called Prompt Engineers for Project Managers. It is free for PMI members and $19 for non-members.

This is an advanced class. I would recommend that you pass the Generative AI for Project Managers first before Prompt Engineering .

Fellowship Program

Black in AI 2024-2025 PhD Fellowship Program

Black in AI has its 2024-2025 PhD AI program open from now through July 22, 2024. The money only covers the program of study not the GRE and other costs to apply for the PhD program. If you’re interested in studying and working in AI, check out this video for the requirements.
