What did you do in your old position at Swarovski?

I was the Financial Business Partner for Controlling and Costing related matters in our biggest jewelry manufacturing plants in Thailand. My main duties involved coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders and managers to ensure we can take decisions at any level of the organization - from our shop floor to the top management.?

What are you doing in your current position at Swarovski?

I coach, motivate, and inspire six senior leaders to cascade a "can-do" and "One Team" attitude to their divisions. I also ensure the financial and operational success of our jewelry factory.

I never get bored in this role. I am involved in taking strategic decisions impacting our colleagues (HR and Environment, Health, Safety and Security teams) as well as regulatory and financial topics (Controlling & Costing, Finance & Accounting, IT, and Export/Import teams).?

How did this career move within Swarovski happen?

I worked in many different roles in the HQ in Switzerland from 2015 to 2019 and one of my last assignments was in Thailand. I fell in love with the people and the culture, entered the global mobility program, and finally landed here with my family in 2020.

What does career mean to you?

I believe in being human. I strive for delivering excellent results and want to develop my career, while, at the same time, build empathetic connections with people around me. The magic happens when we understand each other’s needs and put ourselves in the other person’s?shoes.?

Career is also about learning: the last twelve months allowed me to explore and connect with other areas of the organization - not directly related to manufacturing. Curiosity is key to develop a learning agility and to push yourself out of the comfort zone.?

I am proud to work at Swarovski because the company’s values reflect my own. I also feel lucky to work in Swarovski Manufacturing Thailand where I can apply all our?cultural values in my daily life.
