When and how did you decide to join Swarovski??

After spending many years vacationing in the Tyrolean mountains, I finally paid a visit to Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens. I fell in love with the idea of becoming part of this glittering company as well as living in my favorite vacation destination. I joined the team in 2014 and, ten years later, it still feels like I’m living the dream.?

What did you do in your previous position at Swarovski??

In my last role, I led the Quality Product Development team. We support the product development process by carrying out ongoing risk assessments and compliance checks. However, my primary responsibilities were aligning processes and co-ordinating remote team members working across our brand product portfolio.?

What are you now doing in your current position at Swarovski??

I’m now part of the Sustainability team, responsible for circularity and waste. I plan and manage projects that will help us to reduce waste and pollution, extend the life of our products, and help to conserve valuable resources. It goes without saying that working in this team is incredibly fulfilling. Our team is all about creating shared value for people, the planet, and our business – it’s a good place to be.?

How did this career move within Swarovski happen??

After working in various quality positions for several years, by August 2023, I was ready for a change. Moving to the Sustainability team presented a new challenge and it’s an area I’ve always been passionate about.?

What does career mean to you?

I see life as a never-ending journey; our careers should change with us as we progress through different life stages. It's a lot like riding a bike - to maintain balance, you need to keep moving. I also believe we must approach life with an open mind. I try to stay curious and eager to learn while cultivating a positive attitude and surrounding myself with loyal, energetic people.
