It's necessary.
Allow me to reintroduce myself.
Angela McCullough here, and throughout my 30-year career, I've been leading professionals and helping colleagues on their career paths.
What I realized through that process are these 3 things:
- Sometimes, you have to take a crappy position
- Moving forward may mean you have to step backward
- Laterally may be the fastest way forward
So, why does that matter?
Because, like all of us, I am meant for more, just like you can have more. (if you want it) in your career.
And this is my formal announcement that from this moment forward, I will be taking all of that experience and knowledge and sharing here on this platform.
There's a lot to share. That's a good thing.
And as I develop this new career mentoring map for men and women, I am thrilled to hear your feedback, interact, and support in any way I can.
Today's first thought.
Success is not a linear journey but a courageous exploration of various directions.
Until tomorrow.

1 年I love this, Angela. I'll have to keep coming back to this table to be fed. You're correct about success not being a linear journey. The right lateral moves help you acquire more tools for your toolbox. One has to be cautious and move with purpose!
