In a few months, hundreds of thousands of high school and college graduates will be looking for jobs - some for careers and some to figure out what they want to be when they grow up. The majority will probably not consider insurance as a job possibility because they picture it as boring and don’t understand the variety of opportunities it presents. For a generation that is focused on making the world a better place and working in some sort of technology field - insurance does all of that and more.?
According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in less than 15 years, 50% of the current insurance workforce will retire. That means over 400,000 jobs will be available and it creates a serious talent shortage for the industry. As more aspects of insurance go digital, the opportunities involving all types of technology abound.?
