Career Ideas for Digital Nomads and Remote Workers #1

A lot of non-retired people, especially from the western countries, want to relocate and work abroad, especially in less developed countries. When you are not sent by your international company, becoming an employee at foreign is quite difficult: the new generations of locals have more or less the same qualifications as foreigners, and local governments push companies to hire local people (and don't complain about it: your countries do the same and try to discourage immigrations!).

An easier way to live abroad is to own a business. Often, those who have a reasonable amount of money to start will open a restaurant, bar, or guesthouse... And they will often fail because they believe qualifications are not needed when it comes to hospitality! With more capital, you can start a larger business. All this is the world of Daddies' boys and girls, pensioners and other lottery winners.

If you don’t have a lot of money, or no money at all, the only remaining solution is to be a freelancer and offer services, in person or online. And this is where we will be talking about the first career idea you might want to consider. Personal training is very popular around the World and I am always surprised to see how many people use the services of fitness coaches to help them reach their health and fitness goals, despite the too numerous videos we can find on YouTube for example. Of course, it is recommended to have qualifications before starting coaching people; you don’t want people to hurt themselves or get injuries because of your lack of knowledge and practice. So, I wanted to share something that might interest those of you passionate about fitness, health, and nutrition who want to set up their own activity. While searching for solutions for some clients, I found Online Courses Australia (OCA), which offers quality bundles to become a personal trainer or related jobs. In my professional opinion, these courses have two main benefits:

  • Professionalism: the courses are built by industry experts and are Continuing Professional Development endorsed. This means those courses are accredited and not created by someone who decided overnight that they were a specialist.
  • Price: the cost is just AUD 25 per week (around USD 16 or EUR 15).

So, if you are a gym rat and/or a fitness enthusiast, this is a good way for you to work and make money officially while offering a real service.

Also, here's a little bonus for you. If you enrol in any of these 6 Short Courses & Micro-Credentials using my link: https://bit.ly/OCA-Fitness-MKS, we will offer you our Online Career Coaching Program and 3 hours of Career Coaching, the whole worth $99!

If you’re new to this field, it’s best to supplement your training with practical experience.
