Most people I meet are really good at what they do. They are fantastic at their jobs and they've invested heavily in their careers becoming better and better over the years; perfecting truly their talents and skills in their professions. What they are not very good at is career management. They don't really know how to be strategic about their careers and often they have sometimes paid the price for this "letting things happen to them" approach. They have left money on the table, took roles they later regretted, and even joined organization where everything about it was completely unsuited to who they were. In some cases the price was so high it affected their relationships, their mental health, and even their physical health. There's downside when you don't take care of yourself.
Look if you are professional, you are likely extremely good at what you do. You've taken a large portion of your time to increase your understanding of your field and your industry. You have skills you have built up. Knowledge you have accumulated. And you are incredibly proactive and thoughtful in your work. But, with your career, you have no clear idea of what should be next, how you will get there, what might be required to get there, or even a first step to take. You expected, perhaps, the organization and its leadership to guide you but you are realizing more and more that they really aren't doing much of that and what's really happening is that they are encouraging you to fill a gap they have with little regard to what might be best for your career and even less regard for helping you to figure out what would be best for your career.
Most professionals have this vague memory that back a University there was this staff of people to help them with career development. An entire crew it seemed with offices and office hours available for that personal, individual advising needed to select a major, select a career path, and build a plan to get from here to there. But now when those University days are long gone, who is there to turn to for advice on what should be the next step in the career? Some professionals are lucky enough to have mentors and coaching programs available to them right in their organization. But often they feel that there's this risk of talking openly with mentors and coaches who are a part of the organization; people who know our bosses and our peers. So, when coaching and mentorship programs do exist, they are often underutilized. And quite often, there's a lack of openness and transparency from the mentee.
Ultimately that's the reason why I started JobMorph. I just felt strongly that professionals should have a place to go to completely independent of their employers to strategize about their careers. And I felt that if something like that existed, it could help so many people find the right next step for them. I believed that professionals needed more than books, blogs, and videos; they needed an interactive environment where they could talk about their options and gain knowledge of resources they might not even be aware existed. I wanted to build this place you could go to, that you could trust, that had no vested interest in the decisions were making, but could provide you the support you needed, week after week, for as long as it might take for you to figure out that next step and accomplish it.
I couldn't really understand why this didn't exist already; why all there was out there were resume writers and content producers re-running the same three hundred tips (and rules) over and over. Some of it was stuff I remembered reading thirty years ago when I first looked for a job. Honestly to me it looked like "plug and play" with no desire to actually engage individually with any member of their audience. And just a note engaging is not you talking at people; it's you listening to people. Hearing their stories, understanding their pain points, and working through what they need, as they need it.
And then, about 21 months ago, I got real tired of wondering and JobMorph became a thing. So here we are offering that place to go to if you are a professional. That place to share your story. That place where you get introduced to stellar resources that can really make a huge difference to getting what you want from your career. And that place where you can find the support from real humans who actually listen.

Yep, my mind is blown every single day by this career accelerator we've built. And even more blown by the team who is making it better and better every single day. And the clients (past and present) who have supported the company by joining, advising, investing, and openly sharing the impact a career accelerator can have with their friends, neighbors, and family members. And now, with their organizations -- encouraging them to make JobMorph available as a benefit to all their employees and their employee family members.
If any of this interest you, and you want to chat with us, just to learn a bit more, maybe ask us some questions -- we're here for you. Every single inquiry is handled by a real human being... her name is Imane B. Dahni and she's beyond amazing at helping you determine whether JobMorph is the right program for you to join.
So reach out to her here.. or send her email at [email protected]
And, please, if you can... share this with others. There's so many out there who need a service like ours but just aren't aware it exists. Help your friends and family out. Spread the word.
Thanks!
