Let's talk about stress.?
Most of us think of stress as something bad. We want to avoid it at all costs.
We're always talking about how to get rid of it, like it's a disease or a rodent.
Gross!
When we have that negative frame of mind about stress, we actually become stressed about our stress.
This is nothing new, of course, but one of the things I love to do is help those of you who are ultra stressed out find ways to manage your mind to have less stress.
That's what I do in my keynote, Mindset Matters.
But there's a twist on this subject.
Did you know you could also become stressed about not having enough stress?
That's what one of my VIP coaching clients is currently experiencing.
In his company, he's seeing incredible growth. In fact, they are likely to double their revenue in the coming year.
Amazing, right? Except he's delegated tasks so well that he's got little to do at this point...and his self-worth comes from his productivity.
Now he's left wondering, "What's next for me?" and "How do I find my purpose?"
Isn't it funny how sometimes we're stressed about stress and other times we're stressed about not having stress?

Are you working overtime because you just care about work too much?
Where do you draw the line between overworking and being careless?
Caring too much about work is a common problem that can have serious consequences. When we are driven by a strong work ethic, a desire to succeed or please others, it can be easy to become consumed by our jobs and neglect other areas of our lives. While this dedication may be admirable in the short term, it can lead to burnout if it is not balanced with self-care and a healthy work-life balance.
To address this, I wrote an article entitled, "Care Too Much vs. Being Care-less."
In the?article I share:?

Recently, my husband had an ergonomics assessment done and was told his chair was too high. He's since gotten a standing desk.?
Then my massage therapist told me that the reason I have so much tension in my next and shoulders is because of my desk configuration.
All this along with my conversation with Aesha on the podcast, got me thinking about the importance of our work set up.
To take my conversation with Aesha to the next level, I'm also including for you a short (4:12min) video about "The benefits of good posture ."
