Care in a Crisis - Bringing Hope to Elderly people

This is a series of video talks prepared for Care Homes and Nursing Homes where residents are unable to receive visitors or people to give talks because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Many people are lonely and will find it hard to occupy themselves. Other people will get depressed and find it hard to cope. There is, however, hope to found in faith in God and in His Son, Jesus Christ. These videos have been prepared to help a little with these problems.

Someone might say that these are only words. And so they are (you can trace my Irish roots in the way I have just expressed myself)! Words are incredibly powerful. Words can trouble us and can bring us peace. Words can make us laugh and make us cry. Our moods are affected by words. So if you can, phone someone today and cheer them up. Write someone a note to lift their spirits or send them a link to these videos.

All I am asking you is that if you know of any Care Homes and Nursing Homes that you think would find these videos helpful then please let them know.

Our prayer is that these recordings will be a blessing to many.
