If the cards are always stacked against you, maybe the game is rigged
If the cards are always stacked against you in the game you are playing, maybe the game is rigged; by you sometimes. In that case, you should change your tactics or change everything and start doing something else. Totally different.
There is that inner voice that each one of us has that makes us believe that we can do anything. That voice that tells you ‘You can do it! Just go for it!’. You should listen to that inner self because more often than not, it's right.
However, if your inner voice always makes you doubt every move you make, every decision, and every choice you make, maybe it’s time to stop listening. Maybe it’s not a voice of wisdom but chattering out of fear and resistance to change.
You see, there will always be someone better than you out there no matter how good you are. And who cares if you are the richest man in your country when someone is the richest man in the whole world. Like who cares if you’re the president of Somalia when someone is the president of the United States (those are like 54 Somalias combined).
We live in a world of relativity whereby you are good but there is always someone better than you; and if you find yourself hating everyone better than you, maybe you are the problem and it’s time to rethink your motives. You might be dangerous even to yourself. A sadist and a cynic who always thinks he/she’s better than everyone else.
Bottom line…

Don’t play the same game over and over again if you are always losing. Because if your instincts are always wrong, maybe it’s time to start ignoring them. The best way to be the best is to compare yourself with who you were yesterday.
