There are plenty of fun activities to do in Cardiff during the Easter holidays.
If you like theatre, you should definitely try out The Tempest, a play performed by Chapter, a local theatre. It is based on Shakespeare’s play but has been modernized and adapted for children. It’s very funny, with catchy music and clever props.
Another great place to visit is Techniquest, where you can learn about science. I really liked the water area, where you can experiment with different types of water and how they behave. You can also learn about chemistry and physics in an exciting way. There’s something for everybody!
Cardiff has lots of beautiful parks and gardens too. Roath Park is lovely for a picnic or walks on a sunny day. You can also have a boat ride on the lake, which is great fun! The Botanical Gardens are also wonderful, especially when all the flowers are starting to bloom in spring.
I hope you enjoy Spring break in Cardiff as much as I did!
