It's time for the weekly #sustainability news digest from Greenifs - the sustainability reporting solution. ??

?? News of the week:

  • ?? Germany aims to adjust the European Commission decision to stop the sales of #ICE (Internal combustion engine) cars from 2035. According to German transport minister?Volker Wissing, the country would oppose the bill if clean, or e-fuels (fuels created from organic material) were not included. ??

Do you know the difference?

Becoming carbon neutral simply means absorbing equal amount of CO2 as you emit. It has gotten some negative connotations and is seen as #greenwashing . Companies purchase carbon credits instead of making their operations more sustainable.

Becoming #netzero is much more ambitious. It's a company's aim to reduce all greenhouse gas emissions throughout the whole supply chain.

Being 0??can be a ??!
