CAR SALES CHANGE is all about transformation and this piece goes out to all of those incredible individuals who have never been encapsulated inside the confines of the creativity culling cardboard box.
Thinking out of the box is a catch phrase, but what would you say if I told you there is no box. If you do not get boxed up you have never have to think out of it ? My automotive world has never been confined to a little boring, bland, brain numbing box where occasionally you may find what some people refer to as an out of the box thinker.
What you really encounter is a jack in the box or what I refer to as a car sales clown ?? Every now and then one of these Jackasses jumps out the box for a brief moment of hilarity. I nearly died with laughter once after returning from overseas, the Jack offs were still.... Yes wait for it.... putting on car jamborees, carnivals and pushing forward family fun days as their most innovative ideas and pivotal promotional and marketing masterpieces. Thankfully I was not a part of that, however if.you are looking for me you will not find me thinking out of the box.
My preferred retail realm is.. THE BLUE AUTOMOTIVE OCEAN of limitless thinking & endless imaginative opportunities. Sometimes if you want to survive and to find out all you need to know you have to swim with the sharks for a while, but my best advice is don't ever let them see you bleed when you do so. The realization is that I am regarded by many as a totally different and dynamic new era leader within automotive retail.
I embrace #CHANGE and revel in the transformational times that are testing the automotive professionals of today. Companies need the X factor in car sales as culture changes over time and conditions are constantly in a state of flux . I would be delighted to share a little bit about what makes me different and why? I am regarded by many as a transformational automotive leader.
You have to be able to make what seems totally impossible a reality. Automotive professionals from all over the world contact, collaborate, converse, consult and reach out to me because they do not want to tune into the conventional. That time has come and gone yet it is clung to by many inside the industry.
The fear factor is well known and often referred to as the curve huggers comfort zone, by retail rebels who work tirelessly to track and crack new retail codes. In the automotive arena of today it is a thinking game, when you go up against the golden gladiators of bygone garage sales days, who try the old blood and guts routine in sales and marketing it reeks havoc across operations.
Science, technology, sales engineering and predictive mathematics are a much more measurable set of mediums, ensuring a clinical, surgical, strategic, laser focused and refined outcome.
STEM delivers a strategic retail strike using data and science for insightful, predictable and precise execution. Clued in collaborators want to work with courageous, creative, imaginative, innovative motor industry mavericks and retail rebels that are regarded as generalists, practitioners and revered as agile-thought and servant leaders. I cannot begin to tell you about the amount of money that was spent on my training, up-skilling and digital regeneration by one of the most innovative motoring manufacturers in the world. Suffice to say it makes what they spent on Steve Austin the million dollar man look like chump change.
We will see the meteoric rise of artificial intelligence and automation across the entire service, sales and communication spectrum in car sales. In an industry that is inundated with the most boring, dull, unimaginative drones you have ever come across and that in the majority of instances quite insanely do the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Drew believes it is refreshing to have rebel talent as an integral part of team to keep pushing boundaries, breaking down bureaucracy and to push the edge of the envelope in retail automotive operations.
