Car Insurance Snapshot Scams

No one likes to think they’d fall for a car insurance scam. But with fraudulent drivers, agents, mechanics and insurance companies, there are a number of potential pitfalls that could crop up. With a little know-how about common fraud situations and warning signs, you can avoid becoming the next target.

On 2/4/2020 I Called Progressive about the "Misleading SCAM Progressive Snapshot Device." According to Progressive Representative conversation, I saved only $32.00 on my vehicle not Hundreds of Dollars as stated and lead by the previous Progressive Representative (See Below)

She also commented that I was paying $100.00 more because of an accident and that I wouldn't receive discounts because of the accident. Which is it, Will or Wont????? This statement tells you that Progressive Snapshot, Allstate Drive Wise (I'm Your Mother Mayhem) and Nationwide (Pattonville Warehouse) discounts are all "SCAMS" and a waste of Money to Advertise such Scams when these Insurance Companies can become "A Trusted Company" instead of misleading it customers into taking their coverage.

I've removed the annoying, beeping, and in my way Progressive Snapshot Device and returning it because it's nothing more than a "Insurance SCAM" to get me as their customer.

The only reason at this time, I'm not changing insurance company, is my daughter has got it in her head that changing insurance company is bad own your part. Therefore, the quote I received from the other Insurance wont apply without her vehicle being cover also.

On 9/13/2019 After speaking with Customer Care, I continued with Progressive with the understanding that by getting and having the "Progressive Snap Shot Devise" I would receive a discount now which is and was Misleading on Progressive's Representative's behalf.

I notice that my monthly payments had not changed is how I discovered the Misleading Conversation. I've played the recording to Three different people at different times and all three say the same, Progressive Representative lead me to believe I was getting the discount now, not later. I've also read where their Pricing is high and I'm looking at other Insurance Pricing because I notice that by having "Progressive Snap Shot Device," could increase your Insurance Rate which was also left out of the Representative's Conversation at the time.

The "Snap Shot Device Downfall" is that It can not adjust to Road Construction and other drivers within itself, a Closed Or Blocked Lane where you have to One Lane Merging, and the unexpected events like an idiot driver who needs last minute get in your lane unsafely because they don't know how to merge properly which goes on in Jackson Madison County Tennessee and all across the Country along with the "Bump and Scam Accidents."

Rest assure though, If my rate does not decrease, I'll look for a better offer. Especially if my rate increases because I have "Progressive Snap Shot Devise" and the "Misleading Information provided by their Customer Service Repersetative" when I signed up.
