Is there a car to go underwater? Here’s the future of exploration
Our days never end without driving a car from home to work, sports club, gym, grocery shops, etc., But ever thought of driving a vehicle underwater, that too unmanned!
Surprisingly suitable, it is hard to think that our earth is 97% water and 3% land, but still, so much of most of the oceans are left unexplored. This might be due to security reasons, or we are still not aware of inventions that take us deep into the depth of oceans,
Introducing Autonomous Underwater Vehicle
Here we have our?#autonomousunderwatervehicle?to explore the unknown part of the deep water.?AUVs (autonomous underwater vehicles)?are also termed unmanned underwater vehicles. We can use?AUVs?for undersea survey duties such as locating and mapping submerged rocks, wrecks, and obstructions that might be dangerous to the navigation of commercial and leisurely vessels.
?
With no aid from an operator, it completes its survey mission. After completing a task, the AUV will return to a previously set position to download and evaluate the data.

Let's look at the operations of underwater vehicles
The autonomous underwater vehicle industry is growing faster and improving the operations and AUV industry value tremendously. AUVs are surveillance robots that are deployed with pre-programmed mission directives. Non-propelled AUVs can glide up and down by adjusting their buoyancy or hovering in the water column. While propelled AUVs may move more quickly and maneuverable than non-propelled AUVs, they have a shorter battery life and are frequently utilized for missions that run for several hours to days.
They use various batteries to supply different moments or propulsion, some even solar-charged. They are programmed at the surface before deployment and can operate independently till the task is finished.
Engineers and scientists can immediately transfer data from the AUV onto the computers on board the ship after it has returned. Although the data is raw and needs to be processed, they can use it as soon as necessary.
In most cases, they set the AUV up to surface after the mission. The ship's engineers tracked the AUV. The team launches the work boat to retrieve the AUV and hoist it back onto the research vessel.
