Capturing The Night Sky
Those were the times where we couldn’t trust our phone cameras to take a perfect night picture and may have missed out on capturing some wonderful memories. Not anymore, iPhone camera has changed the way we imagine photography. It can do everything a professional camera can which includes taking pictures in pitch dark or with low light.
This takes only 3 easy steps to follow.
Step 1:
Get a sturdy tripod.
This is the most important tool in taking night pictures. For night photography we need the camera to be stable so that it can allow the shutter to be open for longer time which is the main trick in night photography.
Step 2:
On the top left corner of the camera app, you will see a highlighted yellow button. This means the camera is on a night mode. Click on the button and you will see a timer below and just above the shutter button. Depending on the amount of light the camera will automatically display the maximum time you can keep the shutter open to let the desired amount of light in. By scrolling left or right you can adjust the time according to your shot. Once you lock in your shot lightly press the shutter button to take a picture without moving or shaking the camera and leave it till it takes the picture.
