I’m currently at Cisco Connect in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and I couldn’t wait to share details of the amazing visit I’m having with our partners here. First, I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to our Brazil partners for these key achievements in FY18 I shared:
- Delivering 100% Brazil sales
- 50% YoY security business growth
- Reaching 15% on recurring offers penetration
- 1,700+ partner individuals leveraging dCloud tools
Our partners in Brazil are doing what it takes to capture the digital opportunity before us! The digital evolution is happening now – fast and furious – with digital spending in Latin America reaching 40% of all IT spending by 2020.
I’ve joined Jordi Botifoll, SVP, LatAm, in a few partner meetings and we’ve shared a common message with our partners – it’s our goal to help you fuel and capture these opportunities. We can help you grow your business through our innovation, increase your profitability through our partner ecosystem and go to market strategy, and flex our muscles together through our enablement programs.
This year, half of the spending on technology worldwide will come from the IT budget, while the other half will come from the budgets of technology buyers outside of IT. Technology spending by line of business decision makers will overtake technology spending by the IT department next year. However, 59% of companies remain at a "digital impasse”.
