Captivating International Annual Charity Auction
Captivating International held their annual charity auction on October 17that the Futian Shangrila Hotel. This year has been a real challenge for every business, and global charities are no exception. Still, our annual charity auction has drawn close to 500 guests, all of whom came here to show their support for the organization’s cause.
I remember the very first Charity Auction event Captivating International held in Shekou, Shenzhen 12 years ago. The entire community came out to support us. And now, 12 years later, your support is even stronger.
It’s a challenge to put on a 5-Star gala event after COVID with a relatively high ticket price. But it’s great to see all of you come out to show your support—friends, volunteers, and businesses—all here giving your time, energy and positivity to make all this happen. Our local businesses especially have shown incredible support with their prizes and donations.
In a year that has unfortunately turned many international communities against one another, it’s wonderful to see that here in China we can all come together as one community to help one another get through rough times. Thank you all and god bless.
