When San Diego and Tijuana were collectively named the Design Capital of the World for 2024, we were thrilled. This is a huge honor, and the crew seized the opportunity to do something big during San Diego Design Week.
Our event for this year's design week was committed to using design to cultivate belonging, connection, sustainability, and inclusivity (while also staying true to VSSL's nautical vibe). From concept creation to pulling off the event, it was a new, challenging, and exciting experience for the whole crew.
