Investments

enspired, a Vienna-based startup which offers trading-as-a-service on the energy markets, raised €25.5 million in Series B funding to accelerate the energy transition with power asset optimization. The round was led by Zouk Capital.


The North Macedonia-founded?startup Native Teams announced the fresh round of investment totaling €6.275 million. Eleven Ventures, Fil Rouge Capital, MFG Invest, and Begin Capital supported the financing to help improve the platform and accelerate the expansion into Asia.


Pythagora, an AI dev tool with Croatian roots, closed a $4 million seed funding round co-led by Y Combinator, Polish Inovo VC, 500 Emerging Europe, Moonfire, Rebel, and Uphonest Capital. The investment will be used to scale the company’s research and development.


The Nordic early-stage investor Voima Ventures invested during the €2.8M (32.5M SEK) round in the Stockholm-based biopharma manufacturer ArgusEye. Voima Ventures is one of the lead investors along with Eir Ventures. The investment will support ArgusEye in their goal to develop new biomedicines.


Tallinn-based startup Nanordica Medical closed a €1.75 million investment round led by the Estonian fund Specialist VC. The round will help Nanordica Medical to bringing its wound care products to the market.


hexafarms, a Berlin-based startup that develops software for indoor commercial food production, closed a €1.3 million pre-seed funding round led by Speedinvest. hexafarms will use the capital to develop its AI and ML capabilities as well as expand its team.


Vienna-based startup fynk raised a €1.25 million in a pre-seed round. Several angel investors participated in the round, including Johann ‘Hansi’ Hansmann, CoastCap, Kai Romberg, Domagoj Dolinsek, Ignaz Forstmeier, and the FFG grant.


Cellbox Labs, a Riga-based startup developing industrial organ-on-chip technology, raised €935,000 in a pre-seed round led by the Latvian Buildit VC, with participation from a syndicate of 12 LatBAN angels. The startup will use the investment to complete the first version of its device and begin sales.


The Riga-based aviation parts manufacturer AM Craft closed €600,000 pre-seed funding round led by Change Ventures, with the participation of BADideas.Fund. The company also launched its first network manufacturing partner location in Dubai.


The Vilnius-based toy subscriptions startup Liledu secured €500,000 in a funding round led by its existing investor FIRSTPICK VC, with participation from HEARTFELT_ and BADideas.fund. The funding will help to expand its sustainable toy offerings into the UK market.


The Tallinn-based electric vehicle charging solution VOOL raised €300,000 and partnered with Estonian Alexela. The capital will be used to support the startup’s infrastructural and technological growth.


Ukrainian startup Esper Bionics, which produces technologically advanced bionic limbs, received a $150,000 grant from the United States Agency for International Development program “Competitive Economy of Ukraine” (USAID).


The Helsinki-based venture capital fund Gorilla Capital invested in Lola Panda, an app that provides learning games for children in preschool and early education, developed by the Finnish startup BeiZ. The investment amount was left undisclosed.


Full Speed Ventures invested in 4Semantics, a Bia?ystok-based intelligent document processing (IDP) company. With this support, 4Semantics will accelerate its international growth in the financial sector and beyond.
