ExpressionEdits, an Estonian-founded and Cambridge-based biotechnology company optimizing protein expression using AI and proprietary intronization technology, raised $13 million in a seed funding round. Octopus Ventures and redalpine co-led the investment. The funding will accelerate the startup’s product development and candidate selection for preclinical studies.
Wealthon, a Warsaw-based startup which provides financial support to SMEs and offers tools for entrepreneurs, secured €11.5 million in debt financing (PLN 50 million) from funds managed by CVI Dom Maklerski. The investment will be used to scale up the business, develop financial products, and expand the business. The company shared the investment details with AIN.
CampusAI, a Warsaw-based startup offering interactive platforms teaching collaboration with AI, raised €9.2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by the Polish angel investor Maciej Zientara. The investment will support CampusAI’s expansion abroad.
Flow Computing, a Helsinki-based startup specializing in on-die ultra-high-performance parallel computing solutions, announced a €4 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Butterfly Ventures and will accelerate Flow’s development of its Parallel Processing Unit technology.
Maki.vc and FOV Ventures co-led a $2.7 million pre-seed investment round for Distance Technologies, a Helsinki-based startup developing glasses-free mixed reality solution. Business Finland and David Helgason’s Foobar.vc also participated in the financing.

CeLLife Technologies, a Tampere-founded spinoff company providing battery measurement and quality control technology, closed a €2 million seed funding round led by the Pan-European VC fund Ventech. This funding round will support CeLLife’s development and expansion.
SaleSqueze, a Slovenian SaaS platform that supports the sales of complex and configurable products, raised $1.5 million in a seed round. The Romanian VC firm Underline Ventures is the lead investor. The new investment will be used to accelerate the company’s market entry and enhance its product development.

Profilence, an Oulu-based software company specializing in optimizing Android-based devices, secured a new undisclosed investment round from the Finnish venture capital firm Nordic Option. This funding allows current investors to exit the company and boost Profilence’s international expansion.
