Capital Rx Insights (June 2024)
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes when you pick up a prescription at the pharmacy (or receive it in the mail)? We hosted a webinar on just that! If you couldn't join us for The Story of a Claim, you can access the replay and presentation materials below!
Capital Rx’s Vice President of Product Management, Kevin Sundquist , eloquently described the journey of a claim, highlighting how our modern enterprise health platform, JUDI?, helps with the administration of pharmacy benefit programs, allowing for the speedy and accurate processing of members’ claims. Can you imagine the potential if additional data – like medical or other claims – are integrated? We can. ??

The complement to AH022 is Pharmacy Benefits 101: Pharmaceutical Rebates, our original rebate article. Consultant Corner: The Mid-Year Shift
Channel Partners,? ?
Can you believe we’re at the end of the second quarter already? As you know, decisions on many large group RFPs are imminent for 1/1/25, which means it is time to start shifting your attention to the small and mid-market groups.?
I can't stress this enough: get your RFPs and marketing efforts going now, as the longer you wait, the more pressure is placed on you as the broker/consultant, your plans, and the PBMs involved. This is especially true if a move is likely. As far as the actual modeling/spreadsheeting of the RFP, stay tuned to next month’s newsletter. We’ll cover legacy vs. modern pharmacy modeling. ???
In closing, for now, I’ve heard, "We are just going to take a small renewal offer from the incumbent, as we don't have time to make a move." Don't let that happen to your clients, and if you have fully insured groups looking to go self-funded, Capital Rx has a solution for that as well, reach out to learn more.?
Let me know if you’d like to chat.?
