CAPEX Project Engineer - Rotterdam Chemical Sector - 12 Month Contract

I am currently looking for a Project Engineer with from a process control / instrumentation background to work for a chemical company in Rotterdam. The client has a need for a project engineer to join them delivering primarily mechanical / piping turnaround related projects.

The role will suit a Project Engineer with experience in any process plant industry (oil & gas / chemicals) who has experience with brownfield capex projects.?

Project Engineer Specification:?

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Rotterdam

DURATION: 12 month contract (temporary to permanent options available).

Essential Skills:

Project Engineering experience (5-10+ years).

Mechanical / Piping Engineering background preferred, ideally in oil, gas chemical or similar process industry.

Knowledge / experience with CAPEX projects, specifically related to turnarounds.?

Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion, including basic engineering, vendor selection and execution

Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving in the field.

Roles are responsibilities:

Responsible for performance of engineering & project delivery contractors

Prepare project reports and present to the management team

Create project organisation and outline responsibilities for each role – create scope for each role

Overall responsible for project budget
