This is to inspire even more diversity of thought in backing and building startups to solidify Europe’s contribution to the global tech landscape.

Today highlighting ?Emma Tracey?? a serial entrepreneur, marketeer, former journalist, angel investor, and Irish in Berlin. Emma moved here in 2015 and co-founded a recruitment platform called Honeypot that sold in 2019 for €57m. She then started to angel invest. Emma believes that the cycle to successful founders turning investors is a sign of a healthy ecosystem, where capital and experience catalyze new ideas and innovation. Besides investing Emma enjoys to “scale stories”. That why together with Johanna Dahlroos she co-founded Scéal , a Berlin-based agency helping tech companies scale. Together they create and revamp brands - having created digital brands and products worth around half a billion euro.

Take your time.

What was the best thing you’ve ever been taught in the startup world?

Ask the dumb question and don’t believe the hype.?
