Can't get your ducks in a row...
If you read my stuff on a regular basis, you know I often like to share a post written by others, posts that I think you will enjoy. So today I want to share a post written by my friend Tim, a post that showcases his bizarre humor, but in a way that I believe has a good business point. So here goes...
"Do I have my ducks in a row? I don't even have my ducks in the same building. I have ducks outside laying in the sun, 3 staring at me wanting food, two in the corner plotting my overthrow, one playing on the elevator, one using my credit card on amazon, and at least 5 currently missing. I actually think one may be a goose in disguise.
My ducks in a row... not in today's world. But that is actually ok. You see, I have always believed that within chaos are great opportunities, and that is what I see in today's world. You can quote me... Within Chaos is opportunity!.
Your competitors are trying to work through the same chaos you are. They are dealing with the same, rates, inventory, inflation, election, economy, bouncing agents, and crazy buyers and sellers that you are. The brokers and team leaders are trying to recruit the same people, agents are fighting over the same clients, and the world is chaotic. But I remember a saying whenever chaos seems to be overwhelming me.
"You don't need to be faster than the bear, you only need to be faster than the guy next to you."

Well we don't need to solve all the chaos to succeed. We just need to be more organized than our competition. We need to utilize...
We need to at least know where our ducks are. Our clients will respond to our lead, so if we are chaotic they will be as well, if we are calm and rational, they will react in the same manner. So get them in the same room at least."
Thanks Tim, I hope everyone likes his post and the point.
