Congratulations, Alaska and Yodel!

Congratulations to puppies Alaska and Yodel for winning the 2025 puppy calendar cover contest! This duo will be featured on both the cover and for one of the months, representing and inspiring us through our 50th year. The calendar includes a special detachable poster highlighting Canine Companions 50 years of puppies. Calendars are available to preorder with a $25 donation each and will be mailed later in the fall. Preorder now.

Get Ready for Service Dog Month

The countdown to September’s National Service Dog Month has begun, and you can make a difference by participating in a variety of ways – starting now! Get your community excited about the celebration and the vital impact service dogs have on people with disabilities. One of the most influential actions to take is to ask your local and state to officially declare September as National Service Dog Month. Submit a request now.

So blessed to puppy raise for Canine Companions and be a part of the amazing mission. We learn so much about each dog through the puppy raising journey and loved learning MORE in this documentary. Really worth the watch and as others have mentioned, great for a family sit down. It was fun to learn more about the matching process and the science behind it, truthfully we all just thought it was a little magic.
