Candidates VS. Companies

Hot topics are #chatGPT, the #economy, and #jobseekers calling out companies for a shitty interview process!
But as we all we know it’s not about interviews, it’s about candidates, finally stepping forward, and saying you know what? No!
Candidates have had enough of hiring managers dodging their calls, recruiters ghosting, HR saying "no, no, no."
We’re kind of sick of it and we’ve been sick of it for a while but nobody’s ever done anything about it!
Now it’s just about being verbal and getting your story out there for others to relate to and empathize.
Fact is, interviews have always sucked and companies don’t always have a good grasp of how to hire candidates correctly, so how the heck did they know if you’re the right candidate or not?
I’ll tell you how: you tell them that you are the right fit.
I call it ‘the bull’.
Go into an interview and start telling the recruiter everything that they want to hear, they’re gonna write everything down, and the rest of the conversation will be moot. But you have to know what the heck you’re doing, otherwise, it’s not gonna work.
Look specifically at the job criteria, and pinpoint your experience toward that. You’ll convince the recruiter that you’re a great fit by using stories that contain the industry buzzwords and how you were successful in completing company objectives.
Once you learn how to speak like this, you’ll have recruiters eating out of your hand and fighting over who will earn the right to get to send your highly coveted résumé to their manager.
This is exactly why you don’t share your résumé with anyone until after you know they have a position that could potentially be a fit for you.
YOU are holding onto a golden nugget, and as long as it’s in your possession, and not the recruiters, then you’re in good hands!
Happy Hunting!
