As The?#ShuftanJobReport ?roars with nearly 4,000 subscribers, I am rolling out my second phase to help people. I post the report on M/W/F and want to use T/Th to feature excellent candidates. I built this community as a way of bringing together job searchers and those who are hiring. As an homage to Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd," I rolled out "Candidates in the Crowd." This is a white space for candidates to discuss their previous work, hopes, and dreams and show off anything to the network. The Candidate will capture a hiring manager's attention, and good things will happen.?

Today, I am featuring Stephanie Nachman . Stephanie worked with many of my former Telescope colleagues while at Nickelodeon. Lindsay Hale, one of my favorite people in the world, told me that Stephanie was such a smart, savvy, and kind client. As sales folks, we like hearing that.


Many people like to say they gentrified a brand in the past, but many don't have the proof of concept, like Stephanie. The modern-day Nickelodeon and its digital, experiential, and brand scope were partly due to her expertise and risk-taking. Her actions won awards and captured the hearts and minds of millions. Those are some big words!!


She understands how to lead a brand through transformation while elevating the larger brand and the team around her. On a personal note, she is one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Culture is the epitome of a great company, and she will be able to align internally.

Who is Stephanie Nachman:?

I am an Emmy-Award winning media executive with over two decades of experience in the digital and marketing organizations at Paramount, where I helped transform Nickelodeon into a key player in the experiential/interactive landscape. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with senior leadership, marketing executives, creative teams, and media teams to navigate change and establish new avenues of content and creativity while architecting strategies for the future.

During my time at Nickelodeon, I played a pivotal role in defining the network's multi-platform and editorial campaign strategies around show launches, app launches, game launches, live events, festivals, tentpoles, on-the-ground marketing activations, and interactive experiences. My strategic vision and leadership were instrumental in driving Nickelodeon's success in the digital space, leading to increased engagement and brand loyalty among audiences.

In my most recent role at Effie Worldwide, a global marketing effectiveness organization, I led the Awards team, overseeing development, production, and innovation on a wide variety of global events. This experience further honed my skills in strategic planning, team management, and innovative marketing approaches, solidifying my reputation as a dynamic and forward-thinking leader in the industry.

I am passionate about transforming and elevating brands, building teams and brand awareness, and collaborating with others to move organizations forward into the future of content consumption and innovation.?

Favorite Project: One project that stands out to me as a career highlight is the development and launch of the award-winning Screens Up app for Nickelodeon. This project was particularly exciting as it was the first-ever TV AR companion app designed specifically for kids. As the digital landscape and children's content consumption habits continued to evolve, our challenge was to meet kids where they were - on mobile devices while watching TV. We recognized that kids often multitask, so we aimed to create an interactive companion app that would enhance their viewing experience and keep them engaged with our programming.

Our objectives were clear: drive users to our major linear programming moments by offering complementary AR and interactive web experiences. We developed a variety of engaging additive content and gaming activities to be enjoyed between linear programming beats, ensuring that users remained entertained and invested in our content, our IP and our product. This approach not only enhanced the viewing experience for our audience but also elevated brand awareness and created new revenue-driving opportunities for the network.

Looking For: In my next career opportunity, I am seeking a dynamic and innovative environment where I can continue to push creative boundaries and drive meaningful transformation. I am eager to lead and inspire teams to develop cutting-edge media and marketing strategies that position brands as forward-thinking and innovative. I am looking for a role that allows me to leverage my extensive experience in digital media, live-events, experiential, marketing, and content creation to create unique and impactful consumer experiences.
