As the #ShuftanJobReport roars with nearly 11,700 subscribers, I am rolling out my second phase to help people. I post the report on M/W/F and want to use T/Th to feature excellent candidates. I built this community as a way of bringing together job searchers and those who are hiring. As an homage to Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd," I rolled out "Candidates in the Crowd." This is a white space for candidates to discuss their previous work, hopes, and dreams and show off anything to the network. The candidate will capture a hiring manager's attention, and good things will happen.


I have read hundreds of profiles for people wanting to be on "Candidates," and I am fascinated with the Alison Ehrmann vibe. A person is WAY beyond their resume, and our current archaic marketing trend does not focus on the human side of a potential hire.

I am happy and happy with my life - just eager to find my work opportunity.

As for what comes next, this is what I am looking for:


  • CMO/VP-level marketing leadership role.
  • B2C/Consumer-focused business where marketing is a key driver of growth.
  • Culture of collaboration, risk-taking, innovation.
  • NYC-based (hybrid or in-office) or remote. Occasional travel is ok.
