With that in mind, this month’s newsletter is all about the importance of CANDIDATE CARE ? Whether that is interview prep, CV guidance, or onboarding support we’ve got you covered!?

OUR CV RED FLAGS ?? ?? ??
?? Don’t include any photos! There is no real benefit to including a selfie and by removing it you can be sure there won’t be any unconscious bias from an employer.
?? Your CV is NOT a job spec! Don’t just describe what you do in your role, include ROI, achievements, and successes.
?? Make sure your LinkedIn and CV are aligned. Recruiters will always check both.
?? Don’t include too much personal information! Please keep your children’s names, full address, and BMI to yourself.
?? Keep it relevant! Replace that paragraph about your windsurfing hobby with project specific information.
SHOULD CANDIDATES BE ALLOWED TO SEE THE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS? ??
?? Yes! Let them prepare – 50%
?? No way! – 50%
It’s a tie! While it might seem crazy to give candidates the interview questions in advance, there are some benefits. It lets candidates prepare thoughtful answers and gives the employer an indication of who has ‘done their homework’ and who is winging it. In most roles, you will be given time to prepare a piece of work, so why not at interview too?
Equally, there are definitely benefits to seeing how well candidates perform under pressure! ??
