Canadian Housing: Build, Baby, Build?

I have stated the following over the years

1. Streamlining of the building permit process through the leveraging of data and AI
2. One size does not fit all for housing
3. Revamping the zoning laws to support residential housing
4. Adopting green construction building practices
5. Building in disaster management programs as part of residential and non-residential construction
6. Supporting infrastructure required for both residential and non-residential construction.
7. Revamping the bids and ask process through metrics like Income growth, housing investment, GDP growth, wage growth, etc.
8. All levels of government need to collaborate with the private sector on how best to manage land including non-residential and residential construciton
9. Revamping the skills trade as part of expanding the labor pool
10. Addressing tax fairness as well as value for money when it comes to managing the fiscal cycle for government business enterprises (GBE), local, provincial, federal and territorial governments.
