Have you ever wondered if you can trust your co-workers?
This is a common question we ask ourselves in the workplace and my advice from personal experience is to err on the side of extreme caution.
Especially in toxic workplaces, our co-workers can take what we tell them in confidence and use it against us to try to get ahead, or even spread lies about us to try to tarnish our reputation - unfortunately, I have seen it all.
If you heard the recent story about the man who was left by his co-workers on a mountain during a company retreat, I made a video about things to consider if you're wondering if you can trust the people you work with ????
If you missed the lively conversation I had yesterday with my guest, Tisha Mitchell, the Midlife Makeover Maven, on my YouTube channel for my weekly Sunday LIVE, it's a must-watch!
If you feel like your life is falling apart before your eyes, this discussion provides hope that maybe things are actually coming together (even if you can't see it yet). Click below to watch ????
Need some gentle guidance processing what happened to you in a toxic job?
I created the Welcome To Your Queendom digital workbook on my own journey of self-discovery while surviving a toxic job. If you're looking for gentle reminders and compassionate reflection prompts to process the trauma you experienced, this workbook is for you. ????
Have my offerings helped you leave or heal from a toxic job? Let me know by taking the quick survey linked below. ????

2 个月To trust or not to trust co-workers? Quite challenging indeed. Toxic relationships regardless of whether they are work or romantic will have some similarities. I suppose if one knows what red flags to watch out for, one might be to recognize them. Erring on the side of caution is a great idea.
Every job place of meeting and developing friendships with co workers and trust is a risk. It depends on what I trust to self disclose with them and access how far does that conversation go. As a need to know basis or do I extend that co worker connection beyond the workforce that it spills into family gatherings or attending events and social functions. I’ve had friends I’ve met at work and had transitioned into personal confidants outside the work setting. We manintained healthy boundaries as we worked in either separate work divisions or same departments but in different roles.
