Can you show me tomorrow

We were asked today as we drove to school to show the solution to the grade 11 maths C problem that the school maths department challenged the grade 10 to solve

Yes so the problem was batted onto us to solve it & yes we did solve it

We did teach maths for 13 years but that was sometime ago &

however the rules of maths haven't changed..

We now & over the last 15 years have enjoyed helping the family jump the little blanks that occur & the magic feeling that 'got it ' brings.

When they solve the next one by themselves then that is an incremental step forward. Maths provides success immediately & how good is that.

as the family has not, due to how busy grade 10 is, attempted the problem then we are not showing the solution until they have sweated over it themselves

Then we might give them a clue & just maybe not the answer until they return from camp next week. They can mull over it until then
