Can you recall a younger version of YOU before kids?

Think back to a time in your life when you were just about to start a new job?

You would have been excited and committed and bought a new work outfit just to make you feel like 'YES...I GOT THIS!'

Fast forward to now...do you still have that outfit or did you get rid of it?

Maybe it doesn't fit you anymore?

Maybe it just makes you feel awkward and uncomfortable?

But you remember how good you looked and felt in that outfit right?

So you had 2 options:

1. Get rid of the outfit

2. Improve the outfit

Now, imagine that outfit is actually your job or the career you had.

Now you have kids, your job or your career can sometimes feel like it doesn't fit you anymore.

So you make a decision to ditch your career and take a step back to 'be there for your kids' until you're ready again to take your career by the reins, but sometimes you can never 'feel ready' and you might never go back.

This decision can be costly.

As it was for me and my family.

When I ditched MY corporate career and started working in my kids' school as a teaching assistant, the impact was all-consuming...

  1. lack of income
  2. felt undervalued
  3. felt unfulfilled
  4. felt constrained
  5. loss of influence in the workplace
  6. no longer contributing to our household income

It's alarmingly normal for us mums to put our careers and jobs on hold, take a step back and 'be there for our kids'. We tell ourselves we'll go back 'maybe when I'm ready.'

But due to time away from that working world, your confidence, your self-esteem, your beliefs and your mindset all take a big knock.

And you don't go back.

And what if you're reading this now and you made that decision to be there for your kids all that time ago?

Well, that okay...there's good news for you even if you made that decision now, recently or some time ago.

Because by developing a personal roadmap for you to return to your career, I can inspire you to keep that work outfit that you had and just make some empowering adjustments to it.

Imagine discovering even more of your potential so that you can make more of a positive impact on your wellbeing AND your wallet!

You have more potential that you ever dreamed you could have.
