Can You Make Your Dreams Come True (or will you sabotage them)?

What happens when everything you dream about starts coming true?

Would you believe that it’s actually happening?

Or would you sabotage it…because it doesn’t seem “real”?

I can tell you from my own experience what this REALLY looks like … and what you may encounter on your journey.

?? In Aug 2021 I started my podcast.

It took me 8 months (Jan-Aug 2021) to just START.

I overthought everything. (the name, the logo, the jingle, the questions, etc, etc)

I told myself “who are you to have your own show with your name on it”.

I’ve now published 50 episodes and had some incredible conversations that have helped me shift my own beliefs and opened up incredible opportunities.

? In Oct 2021 I left my executive role as Head of Growth.

That was scary because I basically gave up my income and had to “start over”.

At the time I knew I needed a change. I had to follow my intuition (and my heart).

I found myself defaulting to old patterns (get another client, join another program, make myself “busy”).

? In Nov 2021 I started meeting with Danielle Grant weekly

I needed guidance and support to step into this new “higher” version of myself that did not yet exist.

I questioned everything in my life.

The thing is…I didn’t even know what questions to ask to access this “higher version” of myself.

She guided me to sit in the silence, slow down and trust that I already had the answers within.

? In Dec 2021 I felt lost and frustrated

After all, everything that I believed to be true was quickly dissolving around me.

I was so used to “intellectualizing” my way from “problem to solution”.

It was like riding a bike or learning to swim for the first time.

I wanted to quit and go back to what was familiar many times.

? In Jan 2022 I decided to lean in and start speaking my truth

I still remember the day I met with Danielle at my Mom’s place in Kelowna.

I was angry about what I was seeing happen in the world.

I was frustrated that I wasn’t doing something to be a part of the change.

So, I started to “speak my truth” and everything around me changed.

? In Feb 2022 Danielle and I started to co-create The SOURCE Collective

I wanted to default back to my old patterns and “pre-plan” everything.

The offer, the marketing strategy, the sales process, the program.

But this was how OLD me would have approached it … which was NOT going to work :)

Instead we decided to co-create it by meeting with “high-vibe” people that were also craving something different.

? In Mar 2022 I started jumping in a cold icy river with Mike Prince

We did this to challenge ourselves.

To commit to something “hard” that would push us to be better versions of ourselves every week.

It has taken on a life of its own. We’ve now published 9 episodes of The Cold Plunge Truth.

And, the feedback we’ve received has been INCREDIBLE!

? In Apr 2022 Danielle and I launched The SOURCE Collective

We invited 18 people to a group call to share “what’s alive and real for you”

We created a space where everyone could speak out loud what their “higher self” was being called to do and be.

We made an offer to join us in a container that would be co-created…and would support them to step into their “higher self”.

4 of those people have been on this journey with us now for a month….and it’s been INCREDIBLE!

? In May 2022 Mike Prince and I organized The Extremely Conscious Retreat

We planned an event that WE would want to attend (regardless of whether anyone else wanted to join us).

Our intention was to create a space where we could connect, reflect and integrate in-person.

We announced the retreat a week ago and already have 7 magnificent, elevated men that will join us!

We are now considering doubling the size of the retreat…which is also INCREDIBLE!

? Oh…and my wife and I locked in our place in Costa Rica for Aug 2022 :)

This is has been something I’ve envisioned for 15 years now.

When I first read the book “Unlikely Destinations: The Lonely Planet Story”.

A life where we live in paradise…and raise our kids to be present, enlightened, caring humans.

Our dreams have manifested into reality.

Is this real?

Yes….yes it is.

What was the key to making it all happen?

?? I needed to be GRATEFUL for every step of the process (the good, bad and ugly).

?? I needed to be CURIOUS of what’s possible if I were to just remove my limiting beliefs.

?? I needed to be BRAVE to know that I won’t have all the answers…but I will figure it out.

There is a reason I chose these words as the foundation for my podcast when I launched in Aug 2021.

I knew that I needed to embody them in everything that I do.

So that I could BE them when I was called up …. to step up!

P.S. This book below was a gift our boys got their Mom (Sharmila Singh) for Mother’s Day.

It was a reminder that no matter what happens in life…we already have EVERYTHING we could have dreamed about…we have each other! :)
