I am 56 yrs old. In 5 years, I will be 61. Close to the well-known age, most people start drawing social security. People get excited about what they can remove from working for years and years in public social security.?
Social Security benefits are much more modest than many realize; the average Social Security retirement benefit in January 2022 was about $1,614 per month or about?$19,370 per year.
Generally speaking, most experts agree that you will need?70-80% of your pre-retirement income?to maintain your standard of living in retirement. This means that if you earned $50,000 per year ($4,167 a month) before retiring, you would need approximately $35,000-$40,000 per year in retirement.
That will hardly take you on the travel scene that so many talk about or think is what they want to do.
People don't plan about how long they will live and what it will cost to take care of themselves, not to mention if any health issues arrive.?
My husband and I have met some real challenges this year. My father with dementia, his father fell and now has head trauma, and his mother's health or mobility is good.
My father could pinch the head right off a penny, and his accounts show that. He planned for his long-term care, and it has been more accessible. (he still doesn't want to spend the money even on himself)
My husband's parents are on the other side of the scale, and money for extra care is an issue.
WHY am I telling you this??
Because when I talk about having a side business for another income stream, people roll their eyes and dismiss the thought because they don't think they can do it or have many other doubts.
Both of our sons, when they turned 18 - had a job, and I took them to my investor to begin investing for their future for $100 a month. By age 56, they will have close to 1 million in retirement monies. I wanted them to be able to compare me...to their future, so they could see it is not as far away as one may think.
I see people in network marketing preach about making millions of dollars, the big houses, the fancy cars.?

No one is talking about your essential health and meeting the future finances that will be in front of every one of us.
Taking care of your health is your job - ensuring you can be taken care of is also your job.?
The benefits of a part-time side business bringing in $500-$1000 a month puts so many things in place for you if you set them up.?
Can you make more? of course. I aim to get you making $1000 first and then worry about the rest. The moment you say "I can't afford to start" is even more of a reason you need to be looking into network marketing.
You don't always see your magic because it's disguised in ordinary things you do daily.??
People are always looking at what they can't do...or they are not good enough or have to learn more before...
