CAN YOU HELP US

We are one of the most successfull and popular teams in the UK. We ride all the top televised races in the country including the Tour de Yorkshire ITV4, Tour Series ITV4, British National Series Eurosport, Ras na mBan Eurosport and Revolution Track Series European Eurosport.

We are looking for sponsors for next year. We are not a professional team we do not have big sponsors giving us large amounts of money. All the riders are either in full time employment or education. They fit racing and training into their spare time. We can`t afford to send the riders on training camps in Majorca or Lanzerote pre season instead we head to North Wales for a weekend training camp. We don`t have the funds to stay in hotels the night before a race, the girls get up at the crack of dawn and travel some 3 /4 hours to races. If we do have to use a hotel we squeeze as many as we can into a budget hotel or stay at a YHA. When we ride a stage race we opt for self catering so after a long hard stage the girls have to get back to the digs clean their own bikes, wash their kit and then make something to eat. We are not complaining if anything we use it to our advantage it has created a great team spirit within the group. I have never heard any of the girls complain. They are just happy to be competing in the best races in the world and against some of the best riders in the world. Yes we do look like the poor relations when we turn up at a UCI race in Europe. We normally have to borrow a van, travel hundreds of miles across Europe to the races. Sometimes arriving just before the race. We cant always afford to take a team car so have to rely of the help of other teams to service our riders in the races. We dont have the luxury of a mechanic or soigneur but at least we are on the start line. And despite starting the races with tired riders we still manage to get results.

We are looking for your help in order to continue our journey. We do have some great sponsors to whom we are extremely grateful to but need your help fill the deficit. Women`s racing is on the rise. Events like the Tour de Yorkshire and Tour Series have given it a geat platform. Next year the Tour de Yorkshire women`s race doubles a two day. That equates to a 6 hour live broadcast on ITV4 and over 2.2 million people at the road side cheering on the riders. As one of the local teams we have a huge following in the race. The Tour Series Matrix Fitness Grand Prix will be over 10 city centre rounds. Thats 10 one hour programs broadcast on ITV4 at peak times. Thats a huge ROI for any company looking to promote their company or brand.

For next year we have made some big signing`s for the team including former World, European and 10 times British National Champion Emily Kay, we have also signed World Tour rider Laura Massey has just had two great seasons with the Drops professional team. Another new rider to join the team is World Tour rider Jen George who has ridden for Drops and Storey racing. We have managed to keep hold of our best riders from this year including Irish International Alice Sharpe and Steph Mottram. We also have a great group of young riders coming through incuding Welsh Junior International Gwenno Hughes, Irish National Sprint Champion Autumn Collins, Cyclo Cross star Sophie Thackray and World BMX Champion Kim Baptista.

We dont expect anything for nothing. We are one of the hardest working teams on and off the bikes. We a have 15 very talented young female riders that can be brand ambassadors for your company. To our sponsors we can offer rides in the team car at major races, VIP hopsitality at races like the Tour de Yorkshire and ITV 4 Tour series. We also have free tickets for events like the Revoloution Track Series that can be used by sponsors or as competition prizes for your customers. The team would be available to feature in photographs for company advertising or brochures. So if you could help in any way it would be very much appreciated. It doesnt have to be cash, the use of a car to be used for race service and or a van would be a huge help. Can you imagine a car all signed up with your company name and logos in the Tour de Yorkshire being seen by millions of people on TV and at the roadside. Helping us with hotel rooms throughout the season would be a big help. The use of a Motorhome at larger events would help the team enormously. Supplying the team with equipment, clothing, wheels, would also be very grateful. Your company would be associated with one of the most popular teams on the circuit and you would also get a warm feeling inside from helping 15 young talented atheletes chasing their dreams
