Can you hear the bells in the distance?
Can you hear all the presents?being packed onto the sleigh?
Can you hear the carols being rehearsed?
Can you feel the Christmas magic?
December is here!!!
I know I'm stating the obvious, but although I'm very nearly ready for Christmas, I do also feel like the festive season has very quietly and quickly crept upon me!?
How are you all feeling about it?
It can be a really emotional time, for so many reasons.
We look around us, and see all the great things around us, but we also reflect on what's gone before, those we miss,?what we've achieved, and what's around the corner for us in the new year.
It's also a month where a lot of our family traditions come out on display and this can bring great comfort.
What traditions do you have at Christmas?
I have to try and find reindeer each December, as they are amazing creatures and really fill me with Christmas Joy!
I also?have to have?certain ornaments on our tree, especially my little welsh dragon from my Dad. I?also?have to have certain music on whilst decorating the tree, which?reminds me of being much younger,?decorating the tree with my Dad, and every year hoping the?fairy lights work first time.
We always have to have Christmas Pudding on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day and I always have to have a Chocolate Orange - and before you say it... they're not his (insert name beginning with "T"), they are most definitely mine!!
Thankfully my parents stopped the giving of Miss Matey and Mr Matey to my brother and I when we were about 10!
My 26 year old step son says he's not bothered about a stocking - but I have said that I will continue this tradition FOREVER - and he knows this, so he always says he doesn't mind, with a smile! He knows me too well!
What do your Christmas traditions remind you of and what new traditions are you going to start this year? Email or message me as I'd love to know.
News & Updates For You
So.....?I think I'm on top of everything - and yes, to those of you who know me well, I do have a few lists on the go!! Work lists, A present list, A Christmas baking list, and a diary full of tasks to do each week! I have to be super organised this time around, as Mr B surprised me with my Christmas present of?a few days away at the end of last month. Luckily he knows me very well, so he gave me enough notice so that I could plan my packing,?plan my time and sort my work accordingly for the time I'm away.
How are you all staying organised? Are you list-lovers or are you more the "fly by the seat of your pants" type?
Each year I coach Clients who find Christmas very stressful, such as spending time with people they'd rather not, relationship worries, time management and staying calm and organised through the festive period.
December can really affect our momentum, as we often have to take our focus away from what we've been working on in our coaching sessions and concentrate on getting ready for Christmas. However, we can do both, and with some simple strategies which I keep tucked up my sleeve, you can always make progress this month.
I'm also getting lots of lovely enquiries from people who are wanting to book me in ready for them getting started on their New Year's Resolutions, and I'm also loving that more people are wanting to take some time out for themselves, whether it be working on their own habits, etc, or wanting to achieve something they've had on their list for ages.
So if this sounds like you, then message me quick!!
You may also remember last month when I mentioned?I'm now mentoring Year 10 students -?helping them navigate the world of a teen, the pressures on them and the aspirations they have for their adult life. We are having such fun and interesting?conversations plus taking part in some amazing activities.
The Ampthill Business Connect have our Christmas Party next week and it'll be a great night to catch up with all the local businesses and have a glass of fizz whilst being surrounded in sparkle and glitter! Check my socials for the link to tickets and come and say hi to me and the rest of the ABC Committee.

Episode 11 of "Is That What You Think?" Is Out Now!
In this episode I talk to the person most suited to not work on land. He is very much designed to be amongst the clouds in the sky. He is RAF Pilot Alex Myers!
We discuss his journey into the RAF, from his earliest memory of wanting to be in the force (which is a little spooky and gave me goose bumps) and we find out how Alex has got to where he is now. We talk team-spirit, mindset, motivation and some "pinch-me" moments, but we also take a sneaky peak behind the planes and the polished boots!
We obviously find out his favourite sandwich, what he'd steal, and what really keeps him grounded - no pun intended!!
If you'd like to move into the RAF and especially the world of a Pilot then Alex will give you some very wise advice. Or if you just fancy a peek behind the military curtain then?I know you will love listening to Alex and hearing about his experiences.
The new episode is out now on all the platforms, so just pick your favourite one,?and follow the show, or click the podcast cover below and listen now!

Anyway, enough about me, please do have the most relaxing, glittery Christmas possible and just take this month one day at a time.
Wishing you a month of twinkling fairy lights that work first time, every time!
Until the next time...
