Can you ALWAYS be prepared for the unexpected?

Can you ALWAYS be prepared for the unexpected?

???? You never know what’s around the corner.

???? You’d like it to be a nice surprise surely?

???? But what if your world gets turned upside down, in the most unexpected fashion, leaving you literally clinging onto life?

How do you handle that?

Let me introduce you to a good friend of mine, Natalie Queiroz, who five years ago today was the victim of an attempted murder. Stabbed over twenty times whilst she was 8 months pregnant and here’s the thing to get your head around… by her partner, the father of her unborn child. A man she had known since her teenage years, a man who had never threatened violence let alone ever committed it. A man she believed to be in a loving relationship with, who left home as normal that morning but who had planned her murder for that afternoon.

She and her baby survived thankfully.

Since then, she has written a book, inspired so many others, delivers training sessions to schools regarding knife-crime, raises funds for charity (including the Air Ambulance which played a pivotal role in her survival), raised three daughters and homeschooled in the past year and has got engaged!

Why do I tell you this?

Often the smallest things annoy us or make us unhappy. It’s about context. Sometimes when you look at the bigger picture is it really worth stressing about some of the things you are currently worrying about?

Once the world is back on an even keel I’m looking forward to delivering workshops with Natalie, covering areas such as mindset, taking opportunities in your life and living your best life. If you, or someone you know, would benefit from such a workshop, simply drop us a line for more details and to register your interest. Please tell me more.
