So, this time, I'm back on fire even your fire extinguisher won't be able to quench the fire in me…it's burning fiercely. ??

I'll be giving you a lot of gist about gaining financial freedom, this applies to anyone whether a student, dependent and an income earner, you should learn about gaining financial freedom.

But wait, how do you even gain financial freedom?

It's simple...

Learn about personal finance.?

In one of my sessions recently, I made a statement, "Personal finance is a topic that should be taught in schools, beginning from pre-school where we're taught ABC, but we should have another major which is personal finance".?

However, let's not focus on the past, we're in the present. Let's discuss how we can gain financial freedom.?

I became intentional about my finances when my mom scolded me for lacking money management skills.?

Forgetting career or skills, personal finance is one of the most important things in our world today.?

Money seemingly accounts for 80% of the problems we face as humans, now why am I saying this??

You'd find out that we need money to do almost everything, from paying bills, to rent, investments and even education and you'd agree with me that handling money is key to the success of every human being.?

So how do you start?

Financial freedom starts from the mind before it becomes material.?

3 things that are important for personal finance.?

• Plan for money?
• Plan with money?
• Plan in money

When you understand how to deploy these three points, you've conquered your finances.?

Plan for money:

Planning for money is an exercise. Society had stated that we should not spend money that we don't have, and while this is true, let's say you had a dream and you were given 600k you just start rejoicing and make a decision to get things for yourself at the market like sneakers, iPhone, bags etc.

When planning for money, you should not entertain debt. It's also okay to have money numbers.?

I can say my money number is 10 million and that's fine but I also have to plan on how to spend (budget). Imagine.?

Sit down and plan on how to spend the money. It helps you know what can handle money no matter the amount.?

The 10%-10%-10%-70% principle is one principle that has helped many individuals know how to manage their personal finance.?

10%- Being grateful to God for trusting with that. (Pay your tithe)

10%- should go for investments.?

Now, investments don't necessarily have to be starting a business or buying shares and stock.??

Yes, you can invest in a business but what of yourself?

• You acquire a skill with the money too.?

• Pay for knowledge.?

That way the money would multiply if you made good use of the knowledge and skill you've acquired.

10%- Emergency response. They'll always be need for that

70%- To settle pressing needs, wants and desires e.g shelter, food, clothing.?

Plan with money:

Planning with money is an exercise too. This is where 10%-10%-10%-70% principle comes in.

Let money serve you, don't serve money.?

Planning with money is the reality check that helps you take the next step towards reaching the light you saw at the end of the tunnel.??

Plan in money:

After following the first and second process. At this point, you're not planning for money or with money but would be more focused on what the money you've made can multiply.?

By multiplying your money, I mean use the money you've earned to make more of it, if you have to...?

• Invest, do it!?
• Buy shares and stock, do it!?
• Acquire skills that you could monetize, do it!?

I'll tell you money multiplication gets interesting when you've analyzed the benefits and work according.

More investments, more skills.

All these tips would go to the trash bin if all you do is to only read.
